Available is a New in the original Ford Service Parts Box Mercury Cougar upright Hood Ornament/Emblem. The part numbers on the box are: E3WY-16850-A. The numbers on the part itself are E3WB-8B343-AA.
We had a 83 or 84 Cougar that was totalled in a rear end wreck. I had bought the part new from a dealer and didn't have a chance to install it. The box also has a small envelope with some fasteners in it, the envelope is unopened. I hope this postings finds an owner that is looking for the exact original part. If you have an interest please contact me and we can make arrangements. I can send pictures if you like.
